I’m grateful to literary journal Rogue Agent for nominating my poem, “Papier-mâché” for the Pushcart Prize. This is my 2nd Pushcart nomination this year.

Pushcart Prize Nomination by The Shoutflower

The Shoutflower nominated my poem, “Sentinel Species” for the Pushcart Prize! This is my second Pushcart nomination and for what may be my most Appalachian poem, so I’m especially happy for this one.

WV Water Crisis 5th Anniversary & Poetry

5 years ago today was the Elk River, West Virginia Chemical Spill/Water Crisis. It inspired my poems “Cover Us with Mountains” (published by Appalachian Journal) & “Baptism by Fire” (published & Pushcart nominated by Still Journal). Both poems are in my WV-inspired poetry book, Give the Bard a Tetanus Shot.
