5 years ago today was the Elk River, West Virginia Chemical Spill/Water Crisis. It inspired my poems “Cover Us with Mountains” (published by Appalachian Journal) & “Baptism by Fire” (published & Pushcart nominated by Still Journal). Both poems are in my WV-inspired poetry book, Give the Bard a Tetanus Shot.
