Poetry in Pink Plastic House’s The Lost Library Now Available

My poetic sequence on domestic violence and sexual assault, “danse macabre,” has been published by Pink Plastic House Press’ The Lost Library literary journal. These are the title poems from my unplublished chapbook that was a semifinalist in Glass Poetry’s 2019 Chapbook Series, and includes the poem “American Gothic” from my debut poetry book, Give the Bard a Tetanus Shot.

“danse macabre” was originally published as the prose poem sequence “House of Horrors” at Queen Mob’s Teahouse. I recently pulled the original work from that journal when the founder’s predatorial behavior toward a young female poet came to light. I’m very grateful to Pink Plastic House‘ editor for offering to republish these poems and building a lovely new home for them and other displaced work.
