I’m so very grateful to Still Journal for nominating my poem, “Baptism by Fire,” for the Pushcart Prize!
This is my first Pushcart nomination and the poem was inspired by the 2014 WV Chemical Spill/Water Crisis, so it’s even more meaningful to me.
“Baptism by Fire” is included in my debut poetry book, Give the Bard a Tetanus Shot (Vegetarian Alcoholic Press, 2019).
