My copy of the companion coffeetable book for the Women Speak Ekphrastic Exhibit arrived and it’s even more gorgeous than I hoped it would be. It’s a large, glossy, full color paperback featuring Nancy Smith’s spectacular paintings paired with poetry and prose by various female writers, including myself. My poem, “Night Garden,” is on page 23. The first print run sold out at the exhibit, but Nancy has ordered a second printing and will soon make it available for purchase on her website.
