The current issue of Appalachian Heritage includes two of my poems, “Seafarers” and “The Parting Glass.” Both poems explore the many connections between West Virginia and Ireland, including the Appalachian Trail.
Locals can read the print issue for free in the periodical sections of the Kanawha County Public Library and the WV Culture Center in Charleston. It will eventually be archived online at John Hopkins University’s Project Muse.

Appalachian Heritage has also published poetry by Wendell Berry, Nikki Giovanni, Ron Rash, and Frank X Walker.
