Two of my poems, “Seafarers” and “The Parting Glass,” will be published in a future issue of Appalachian Heritage. Both poems explore the many connections between West Virginia and Ireland, including the Appalachian Trail, so I’m very happy they’ve found such an appropriate home.
Appalachian Heritage has published poetry by Wendell Berry, Nikki Giovanni, Ron Rash, and Frank X Walker. Print issues of Appalachian Heritage are archived and available to the public at the Kanawha County Public Library, and the journal is archived online at John Hopkins University’s Project Muse.
